A little about us
Family-run, animal-loving and happiest in the great outdoors.
Welcome to Pringle's Paws, a small, independent dog walking and pet care business based in the heart of Pocklington, East Yorkshire.
We're Carly and Jenny, a mother-daughter duo brought together by a shared lifelong love of animals, the countryside and everything that comes with being a pet owner.
What started as a passion for spending time outdoors with our own four-legged family has grown into something incredibly special — a business built around providing thoughtful, reliable and genuinely personal care for other people's much-loved pets.
We know that our pets are so much more than just animals; they're family. That's why we believe pet care should never be a one-size-fits-all service. Every dog and cat has their own personality, preferences, routines and little quirks, and getting to know these is one of our favourite parts of what we do.
Whether it's exploring the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, enjoying a woodland walk, making new friends or simply providing some company and reassurance at home, our priority is always to ensure every pet feels safe, happy and loved.
As a small family-run business, we're proud to offer a more personal approach, building genuine relationships with both our clients and their pets. We want you to feel completely at ease knowing your animals are in caring, familiar hands.
Our approach to pet care
At Pringle's Paws, we believe the little things make the biggest difference.
Taking the time to understand each pet, choosing walks and activities suited to their individual needs, keeping owners updated and treating every animal with kindness are all at the heart of our approach.
We're fully insured, DBS checked and trained in pet first aid, so you can feel confident that your pets are in responsible, caring hands.
Above all, we want Pringle's Paws to feel like an extension of your own family — familiar faces, genuine care and plenty of happy adventures along the way.
Because to us, they're never just pets. They're family.
Meet Carly
Owner
Pringle's Paws was born from my lifelong love of animals and being outdoors. Having grown up surrounded by pets, caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life.
I've always been happiest exploring the countryside with a dog (or three!) by my side, and being able to turn something I genuinely love into my own business has been incredibly rewarding.
One of my favourite things about dog walking is getting to know each dog's individual personality. From the energetic adventurers who love nothing more than exploring somewhere new, to the quieter companions who prefer taking life at their own pace, I love making sure every walk is suited to the dog enjoying it.
For me, Pringle's Paws is about so much more than simply taking dogs for walks. It's about creating happy experiences, building trust and giving owners peace of mind that their pets are being cared for just as they would be at home.
Meet Jenny
Owner’s Right-Hand Woman & The Organised One
Behind every busy dog walker is someone helping to keep everything running smoothly, and for Pringle's Paws, that's Jenny!
As the other half of our mother-daughter team, Jenny brings a shared love of animals alongside a thoughtful, organised approach to the behind-the-scenes side of the business.
From helping with the day-to-day organisation to making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible, Jenny plays an important role in making Pringle's Paws what it is.
Having shared our home with animals for years, we both understand the responsibility that comes with caring for someone else's pet. Together, we aim to offer a service that feels friendly, dependable and genuinely personal.
Meet our four-legged family
The original inspiration behind Pringle's Paws.
Of course, no introduction to Pringle's Paws would be complete without introducing the animals who started it all! Our own pets are at the heart of everything we do, and each has their own very special personality.
Charlie
Our lovely older boy who enjoys life at his own pace and is always happiest surrounded by his family.
Barney
Our friendly, sociable boy who loves countryside adventures and making new four-legged friends.
McVitie
Our much-loved rescue cat who completes our four-legged family and keeps the boys on their toes!
Mystic
Our sweet boy who is both blind and deaf, but doesn't let that stop him enjoying life's little adventures.
